Photos and information contained in our web page is a guide only. Variations may occur from time to time due to seasonal changes, plants not in flower as shown, plants may not be in leaf in winter – bare rooted trees are not sold in a pot in winter.

Information we offer is general and may vary depending on climate and locality. You should make your own enquiries as to suitability of a plant to your area, the height it grows and any other necessary information. Although every effort will be made to print and give accurate information, no responsibility will be accepted by Hargraves Nursery and its employees for any errors or omissions made.

Delivery times provided by Hargraves Nursery are an estimate only. Hargraves Nursery will not be held accountable for late deliveries or loss or damages related to late deliveries.

Delivery charges are estimated when you view your cart and calculated at checkout


Orders will be dispatched within 7 days of receiving your order. Some products may not be sent to other states because of quarantine restrictions.In extreme weather conditions some plant orders may be delayed until conditions are more favourable.

It is the customer’s responsibility to enter the correct delivery address when placing an order. Hargraves Nursery will not be responsible for undeliverable or wrongly delivered orders resulting from an incorrect delivery address provided by you.

Delivery is by Australia Post or trucking and courier companies. They will leave your order at a convenient location on your property. They may not be able to deliver up stairs or up steep slopes. Should you require a truck to enter your property it will be at your risk.


If you placed your order by mistake, and call or email us, and if your order has not yet been dispatched, we will cancel your order and fully refund your money.

If the product you ordered is not the one you receive, or you receive it damaged or dead, please contact us and we will arrange the return, exchange or refund of your order.


At this time shipping of live plants is restricted to the Sydney Metropolitan, Blue Mountains and the Central Coast areas.


Hargraves Nursery strives for 100% satisfaction. All stock is quality checked before shipping. The customer is responsible for inspecting the products on delivery and advising us within 24 hours of any fault or damage. Plants must be unpacked, checked and watered on delivery or within 24 hours of delivery and any damage or other problems notified to us immediately.


It is important to plant your plant as soon as possible after receiving it. It must be planted within 7 days. Water daily until planted and then 2 or 3 times per week after planting. Care and planting instructions have been enclosed with your order.

We guarantee a plant to grow if you have followed our care and planting instructions. Should a plant fail within 6 months, return it to us with proof of purchase and we will gladly replace it. Hardware and manufactured items are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

We do not give refunds if you change your mind. We do not exchange or refund chemicals and fertilisers. Our refund policy is as per the Trade Practices Act listed by the ACCC.
